Billy is friendly, sweet, and likeable, and he likes to talk. He is shy with strangers, but affectionate and loving toward people with whom he has a bond. He enjoys attention and is very energetic. He is happy when playing with his toys. Billy likes to play with toy soldiers, electronic games, Hot Wheels and Power Rangers. He also enjoys playing sports outdoors and riding his bicycle. He seems to prefer to play alone, but does like to play team games, like baseball and soccer. He likes going to the movies, going to the park, and eating out with his foster family. Billy is on target at school as far as his grade level is concerned. He receives special services in the form of resource classes at school. He likes to be praised and enjoys receiving compliments. He gets along with children his age, but if things do not go the way he would like them to go, he can become easily upset. Billy receives assistance to help him with behavior issues and he is making progress. Billy has siblings with whom he has regular contact. Billy needs an adoptive family who is very structured, consistent, loving and committed to making the placement work. He needs a family who will be supportive of sibling contact. Billy's adoptive family will need to be willing to meet his psychological needs and help him continue to improve his behavior.
