Ashley is a beautiful young lady with strawberry red hair and blue eyes that sparkle. She weighs approximately 104 lbs. and is 5’ 1” tall. She has braces and is very proud of her white teeth! She is slender built and has a fair complexion. Ashley is very healthy and has had regular dental and medical check ups Ashley will be in the 9th grade in fall 2007. She is a typical teenager who enjoys listening to music on her iPod, hanging out with friends and styling her hair and make up. Ashley has a love for animals and has a volunteer job at the Tulsa Zoo that is very important to her. Ashley is not a picky eater. She enjoys a wide variety of food such as fruits, vegetables, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and Indian tacos. Her favorite candy is gummy worms. She is not much of a meat eater and prefers not to eat pizza as it is served daily at her school. Ashley is usually very affectionate, often with hugs and kisses on the cheek, and expresses positive statements such as “I love you” and “Thank You.” The foster mother says Ashley has a good heart. She is outgoing and makes fiends easily. She does have a “best friend” and several close friends. She gets along best with friends her own age or slightly younger. She relates well to both females and males and is more comfortable on a one-on-one basis or in small groups. She is athletic and enjoys sports; she also is good at art and vocal music. Ashley takes excellent care of the personal belongings that are important to her. She is not destructive but can be careless with things that are not as important. She often loses things. Her overall hygiene is fair. She does take good care of her teeth. Generally, Ashley relates well to authority figures. To others, she appears anxious to please and respectful. She is cooperative most of the time. Her foster parents feel she makes attachments quickly. Ashley has difficulty in trusting others. She does know right from wrong and has a conscience. The foster parents report that they have seen great improvement with Ashley’s behavior; attitude and overall well being over the past year.
