Ashley is a 13-year-old girl from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.

Five children is a lot to expect to adopt and love, but these children need to find that special family who will do just that and keep them together. Kenny is described as a very funny guy who likes to joke around. He is the prankster of the family and along with his comical brother, Brian, can occasionally get into some hot water because of it. Kenny dreams of playing sports and being a professional basketball player. He also enjoys playing video games and participating in ROTC with Brian. They recently marched in a parade together with their high school ROTC program. Kenny is an intelligent boy who is easily distracted. He is capable of earning much higher grades when he applies himself. A personal education plan in school allows for adjustments with taking tests. Ashley is warm, funny, and enjoys helping others. She is sympathetic, affectionate, playful, and has a cheerful personality. Ashley makes friends easily and gets along well with other kids, as well as with her teachers and adults. She enjoys doing "girlie" things and socializing. Ashley also likes to skate, ride her bike, and play computer games. She has expressed interest in becoming a school teacher when she grows up. Ashley attends regular classes at school where her principal says she is a joy to have in school and she is always offering to help others. Her personal education plan is in place to help her try to stay more focused in class. She would likely benefit from some extra individual assistance. While Brian and Brandon are the twins, Brian and Kenny are actually emotionally closer and enjoy spending time together. Brian is described as charming, forgetful, and playful. He is very easy going and gets along great with other kids. Besides playing video games, Brian also enjoys writing and drawing. He thinks he'd like to become a graphic artist when he finishes school. Brian attends special resource classes where his personal education plan is set to make it less challenging to stay focused and on task. He is easily distracted, but follows redirection well. Brittany can be very comical and dramatic and her caretakers enjoy her personality. She is also funny, outgoing, and sensitive and is very good with the younger children in her home. She and Ashley are big fans of Cracker Barrel and McDonald's restaurants and enjoy eating there as often as possible. Brittany also enjoys playing board games, listening to music, and talking with friends. Like most teenage girls, she is very interested in boys. She used to write a lot, but lately doesn't write as much. Brittany attends an alternative school and is a good student. She is a really good kid who is trying to make many positive changes in her attitude and life. Brandon is described as independent, confident, and charming. He has a great deal of potential and can be very self-motivated, when he chooses. Brandon makes friends easily and can be an excellent leader. He really enjoys sports and lifting weights and when he recently sprained his finger, did not want to stop participating in either. He also likes to listen to music, socialize with friends, and go to the beach. Brandon attends regular classes at school where he will likely have a personal education plan to help him get back on track. He can do and does very well when he applies himself, although he would likely benefit from some math tutoring. These children would benefit from being adopted together in a two-parent family with no other children. They will need consistency and structure from the very beginning, as well as unconditional love. It is important that Kenny, Ashley, Brian, Brittany, and Brandon have clearly established rules with appropriate consequences. They will benefit from adoptive parents who can spend time with them on their schoolwork and who will instill in them all the importance of education and self-respect.
