Ashley is an 8-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Ashley is a very talkative and fun child. She enjoys dressing up, coloring, playing with her dolls, and board games. Ashley enjoys interacting with others but she struggles with not becoming easily upset. When that happens she often times becomes frustrated and it is challenging to control her temper.Ashley performs academically well in school. She needs one on one attention in her classroom due to her behaviors.

Rodney, Dustin, Ashley, and Katie have a close relationship and like to be in each other's company. They enjoy going out to eat together and playing games. Rodney and Dustin are athletic and really enjoy participating in sports. Ashley and Katie enjoy playing dress up and with Cinderella and Elmo. For an active family, these four children will bring you a lot of excitement, joy, and challenges because they like to have fun. Rodney, Dustin, Ashley, and Katie require a family who is able to provide them with consistent expectations, structure, and boundaries. Ongoing therapy is a requirement for them to address past issues. Any family who they are placed with must be patient and provide them with ample positive affirmations as they build their self-esteem. Ashley requires a home that is able to provide her with consistent boundaries, structure, and expectations. She must continue with ongoing therapy to help her adjust to her new home. It is also important for Ashley's family to be extremely patient and offer her frequent positive affirmations. Ashley enjoys being social and it is important for her to be allowed to continue to participate in activities that promote positive self-esteem and social skills.
