Ashley is a friendly and affectionate young girl. Although somewhat shy when first meeting people, she is very talkative once she gets to know you. Ashley needs help and guidance to deal with boundaries. Ashley is doing well in school. Ashley enjoys looking good and wants her clothes to match. She is currently thinking about what dance class she'd like to take. Ashley loves to dance and sing. She likes to play with dolls, watch tv, loves to read, and also loves to ride her bike and go to the park. Disneyland was a trip she enjoyed with her foster family and she frequently talks about her experiences there. Ashley loves children and enjoys being around them.

Ashley and Clarissa have a strong relationship and need to be adopted together. They both have to learn to get along with each other better and feel that they are ready to be together in an adoptive home. Both girls are very loving and caring of each other. Clarissa tends to worry about Ashley. They both would like to continue contact with their younger brother at least by phone. Ashley and Clarissa would benefit from a family who is structured with parents who would set limits and teach them boundaries.
