Blessing is a 6-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Blessing is an endearing, delightful child who shows emotion through touch. She is extroidinarily affectionate and loves to give and receive kisses and hugs. Blessing relishes in the company of adults and other children and when listening to music. Blessing is almost completely nonverbal. She is able to say words such as "hi" and "bye" and is learning to name her body parts. When watching cartoons, Blessing will bounce and make loud noises. She is scheduled to receive a speech evaluation. Blessing attends school where she receives occupational and physical therapy. She is learning shapes and colors. Blessing has difficulty swallowing. She eats baby foods and receives other nutrition through a gastrostomy tube. Blessing is completely dependent on the help of others in all aspects of daily life, including self-care. Blessing is paralyzed from the waist down on her right side and has to use the assistance of a wheelchair, but she has undergone hip surgery that may allow her to walk some day. Blessing is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Cardiomyopothy, and Scholeosis.
Nevaeh, Blessing, and Braxston are a sweet, loving sibling group. They are extremely bonded to one another and affectionate. They enjoy the company of adults and their friends. Blessing and Braxston have challenging medical conditions. Blessing is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, and Cardiomyopothy. She will need extensive support and total dependence on others. Braxston has a feeding tube because his jaw muscles are underdeveloped and he has trouble swallowing. Blessing and her siblings need a family who will give them ample attention and love. They are affectionate children who relish in receiving and giving hugs. These children will thrive in a home who will meet all of their medical needs and help them reach their fullest potential.
