Bobby is a 13-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Bobby loves all things outdoors. If it where up to him he would live outdoors. He likes fishing, camping, hunting and playing outside. This is a good thing because he needs open spaces to burn off his animated and big personality. Once Bobby let's off a little steam he is fine and is remorseful. He responds well to immediate consequences and very firm rules. Bobby's activities are solo as he struggles with peer relations. Those closest to him say he genuinely wants to please. He is a caring and loving child and truly desires to be in a forever family. When Bobby hugs you and says "I Love You", you know he means it. He is friendly and really enjoys one on one time. He did very well at summer camp and even won the top "Extra Mile" award. Bobby enjoys visits with adults and is happy and smiling. He is very popular at church, they all adore him. He learned guitar and would play on Sundays. He is close to his foster family and they know he loves them. Bobby will need a lot of time and patience, including individual time. Due to this, he will do better in a family with no younger children and older children will need to be much older. Bobby needs a lot of encouragement. He can succeed, but might give up at first without your cheers. He will continue to benefit from sports and activities with discipline and structure. Bobby would do best in a rural setting. His new family will need training in managing children with behavior issues. Bobby will do best in a home without younger siblings.
