Brandon is a very outgoing and talkative child. He is active, loving, respectful and helpful. He does however, not like the word "NO". Brandon is always active and enjoys using this energy to play football, dance and complete his chores. Brandon has made improvements in school, both academically and behaviorally. He is working on his reading skills and his angry outbursts. Brandon is not shy. He loves to talk and will tell you anything that you want to know plus some. Brandon recognizes that he is a high energy child and welcomes the assistance of others in helping him to challenge this energy. Brandon is proud of his Native American heritage and is quick to tell you that he is a part of the Comanche Nation. This organization however, has not been actively involved in his care. Brandon has made tremendous strides in regard to his behaviors by learning to calm himself when he becomes overly active. Brandon needs a family who will be able to provide unconditional love, strong boundaries, patience and consistent care. He would like a family who is active in church. Brandon also tells workers that he hopes his new family will enjoy a lot of family time together and traveling. Brandon has a younger sister that has been adopted and continued contact with her is essential for Brandon's well being. In addition, he has an ongoing relationship with his grandmother. This is also a positive relationship for Brandon and provides him with some stability. Brandon is eager to be placed in an adoptive home.
