Brandon is an adorable outgoing and charming boy with big green eyes and a beautiful smile. He is energetic, curious, and a pleasant child to talk with. Brandon is usually eager to please adults. He enjoys playing football and his Gameboy, riding his bike, and watching Power Rangers. Brandon also likes to write songs to play on his guitar. He wants to be a football player, race car driver, or fireman when he grows up.
Brandon attends regular classes and loves to do well in school. He is very bright and usually earns A’s and B’s. Most of Brandon’s challenges in school are behavior and focus related. He is working on distinguishing between reality and what he wants to happen. Brandon is also working on learning appropriate methods of expressing his feelings and frustrations.
Brandon wants a family who will go to church, like music and will let him play his guitar, live near other kids for him to play with, and who will reward him when he does good things. He needs an adoptive family who understands his history and how it impacts him now. They should be familiar with the types of issues that children in care can have and be patient while they work them out. Brandon requires a great deal of individual time and nurturing. He will also need a family that can provide consistency, structure, stability, and lots of compassion and love.
