Brandon can be helpful and respectful when he wants to be. He is able to complete some tasks he is given with little redirection. Brandon can be polite to new people and is able to participate in outings. He enjoys drawing, math, and describes himself as a "fast runner." He enjoys school and tries to get along with others. He has two other siblings that are placed seperately and he would like to be able to maintain contact with them.

The family will need to have strong parenting skills and the ability to work with challenging behaviors. His parents will need to know how to work with the school system in order to advocate for his special needs. Brandon will do best with a family who is able to give him ample one-on-one attention and be comfortable with physical displays of affection. They will need to be able to provide consistency from day to day and provide ample verbal reinforcement/praise when his behavior is appropriate.
