Breanna is a 15-year-old girl from Tennessee who is hoping to be adopted.
Breanna says, “I would like to have a mom and dad to share the special times with, like when I graduate” Breanna is a fun-loving young lady with a big, bubbly smile. She enjoys listening to music, dancing, playing basketball, running, talking on the phone, going to the mall and visiting with her friends. Breanna’s favorite foods are burgers from McDonald’s, chicken wings, and pizza; however her favorite restaurant is the Chinese restaurant. Breanna has recently found another hobby that she enjoys, which is swimming. Breanna needs lots of encouragement and support to reach her fullest potential. Breanna really enjoys her Science and Math classes. She particularly loves the fact that she gets to change classes at school. Breanna would like to be adopted in a home with children that are older than her, but if they are younger, she thinks it would be OK also. Breanna is a sweet child and typically has a good heart. She desires to be liked and can be very critical of her own appearance. Breanna’s caregiver stated that she is the type of child that requires at least one hug per day. Breanna is doing well at school, but requires individualized attention at home; she sometimes struggles with her relationships with other children in the home setting. She tends to need her caregivers’ undivided attention, and at times has a tough time sharing attention with others. Breanna needs a family that will provide a lot of structure and patience. She needs a family that will fully and permanently commit to her and provide a nurturing environment in which she feels loved. Breanna has suffered a lot of loss/rejection in her young life, and will need a caregiver that can nurture a child dealing with grief/loss. Breanna also needs a family that can keep her active. She tends to have difficulty dealing with idleness. Breanna would do best in a home with no children or older children. She will need a caregiver that can deal with the riggers of raising a teen. Breanna would love to be in a home that will allow her continued contact with her ailing biological grandmother.Disclaimer
