Brenda is an 18-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Meet Brenda, a lively youth full of love, laughter, and potential for greatness. Brenda, who likes to go by "Diane," describes herself as a sweet and well-mannered girl who likes being around others. She has big hopes and dreams and really wants the chance to settle down with her own forever family. Brenda loves to express herself through art by drawing and painting. Like many girls, her favorite color is pink! When she is not drawing or painting, you can find her doing numerous other things like playing board games with others or watching her favorite show on TV. She also loves to dance and sing. She has recently joined the choir. Brenda also enjoys activities such as bowling and swimming. She likes to go to the movies, summer camp, and attend church regularly. Her interactions with her faith family are very important to her. Brenda has participated in Girl Scouts in the past and found this activity enhanced her self-esteem. Such activities will continue to help her learn how to maintain good relationships. Brenda's hopes and dreams include finding her forever home and being a chef one day when she gets older. Brenda loves to cook and has a great appetite. Her favorite family outing will include a trip to Chili's. Brenda enjoys being around other children in both the home and school settings and interacts, plays, and gets along well with her peers. Like most youth her age, she is not a fan of homework, but Brenda does well with positive reinforcement and encouragement. Visit me at the Heart Gallery of North East Texas. Brenda will thrive with a family who has parented teenage children (who are now adults). A family who has previously adopted or fostered will also be beneficial. Brenda needs a family that is understanding and patient and will give her opportunities to gain real success as she takes on new challenges. Her new family will be able to commit to her and give her all the time she needs to feel accepted and find genuine trust. Brenda longs for a family full of encouragement, calm, sincerity, grace, mercy, and acceptance.
