Brianna is an attractive 13 year old girl who enjoys spending time on computers. Her talents include doing hair, cooking and baking and designing pictures on computers. She also enjoys MySpace and watching tv. Brianna is in the 8th grade and attends regular classes. She is bright and hopes to go to college someday, but knows she must improve her grades to do so. Brianna can be very nurturing and often seems older than she actually is. This maturity can cause her problems, as she sometimes has difficulty taking directions from adults. Brianna is a very resilient child, in that despite the many losses she has experienced, she has not had the severe acting out behaviors that other children with similar experiences exhibit. Because of her life experiences, Brianna can be very guarded and has difficulty allowing others to get emotionally close to her. She responds very well to positive, one-on-one attention. Brianna needs a family that she can learn to depend on and who will not let her down. An ideal family would be a single parent female or a mom and dad with no other children in the home, or only older children so that Brianna can get the one-on-one attention that she thrives on. A family with lots of love, patience and a sense of humor would also be a good match for Brianna.
