Brooke is a 17-year-old girl from Tennessee who is hoping to be adopted.

Brooke has grown up with many siblings and has been in several foster homes with siblings and has expressed an interest in a family with other children preferably near or the same as her own age. She would enjoy siblings of the same gender but is not opposed to having brothers. Brooke enjoys family activities and attending social functions and would enjoy a family that is active in community activities. Brooke prefers to be called Brooklyn even though her real name is Brooke. Brooke enjoys listening to music, hanging out with her friends, and enjoys singing. Although Brooke is sometimes shy about singing in front of people, she does want to someday be a professional singer. Brooke likes to meet new people and enjoys telling her story to others. Brooke is currently making good grades at school and is looking forward to working toward graduation next year. Brooke enjoys going to school and spending time with her friends while at school. Brooke loves all animals but prefers dogs. She is very proud of her new husky puppy and enjoys taking care of her, training her, and teaching her tricks. Brooke has not shown any interests in sports but at one point was considering running track at her school. Brooke has resided with her current foster parent for several months. Her foster mother reports that Brooke does very well interacting with her one on one. She also has reported that Brooke does much better when her day is filled with activities and is structured with daily schedules, not giving her down time to be bored. Brooke does well interacting with other adults in our office setting and seems to enjoy socializing and the attention from group settings. Brooke has displayed, however, that she does do very well with one on one interaction and seems to enjoy spending time with her mentor. Brooke needs a family that is active and involved in community activities to assist her in developing a positive social group as well as appropriate social skills. Brooke needs a family willing to assist her with developing independent living skills and can help her establish a life of her own when she becomes an adult and also continue to be a strong support to her and someone she can depend on when she needs help. Brooke also wishes to continue some contact with her birth family and has voiced her wishes to visit with them when she becomes adult age.
