BRYAN (10/93) is VERY intelligent. He normally does well in school, but he could really excell with a lot of positive reinforcement from a permanent family. Bryan loves to talk which sometimes causes him to be argumentative. He says he has been working on this by going to his room and arguing with himself so he can "have his say" without getting in trouble. Bryan has suffered a lot of unfair treatment from several adults in his life and as a result he is very concerned about being treated unfairly again. He and his siblings were placed together with a adoptive family and the placement disrupted which has caused Bryan to be very fearful about living with another adoptive family. In fact, Bryan sometimes appears to have lost hope, at age 12, of ever having a enjoyable life. However, Bryan's worker feels that with a lot of understanding and patience from a adoptive family he will really "bloom." Bryan enjoys skateboarding, playing ping pong, and pool. Bryan has three siblings who he wishes to remain in contact with.
