Sequoia is a 9-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Sequoia is a beautiful child, with a beautiful smile. Her smile can light up a room. She has a very friendly personality. Sequoia responds energetically to positive reinforcements. Sequoia has many medical challenges. She is diagnosed with several conditions that affect her development. She has Cerebral Palsy, she is blind, has a seizure disorder and she is on several different medications. She is medically fragile. Sequoia loves to listen to all kinds of music. Sequoia will even makes noises to sing along to the music. She also loves toys that make noise. Sequoia is very limited in her movement and requires a G-button to feed her. She is on a liquid diet. Sequoia receives occupational and physical therapy 2 times a week. She is taught by a home bound teacher from the school district.

Sequoia needs a family that will be pateint with her and be able to provide constant supervision. She is on several different medications and relies on a caregiver for them. She needs a family who has some knowledge about Sequoia medical needs. The family should be be willing to spend plenty of time with Sequoia.
