When he is distressed, he vocalizes it. He likes books read to him and likes to watch television. Jared is a quadriplegic who is ventilator dependent. He experiences seizures and is being monitored closely. He can't regulate his body temperature, so episodes of hyperthermia may result. He likes to be held. Jared likes to smile at people. He receives ventilator treatments each day. He must be monitored on a Pulse Oximeter at all times. He also receives speech, occupational, and physical therapy twice a week. Jared will be a joy to parent. His smile will light up any room!

The forever family for Jared must live in a warm climate. They must have experience and knowledge of all of his medical needs. They need to advocate for his special educational, medical and therapy needs.
