Shelby is a 15-year-old girl from Arizona who is hoping to be adopted.
Shelby and her sister Kristina wish to be placed together.Shelby is a active girl who enjoys athletic activities such as soccer,and basketball but has a more artistic side to her. She loves to draw and make things with her hands such as bracelets. Shelby also has a very loveable personality.Kristina and Shelby have experienced emotioinal abuse,neglect and abandonment in their lives. Both girls take medication for asthma,and Shelby takes medication for ADHD. Shelby has a history of Ventricular Septal Defecit,but currently is not a problem both girls have weekly therapy sessions to address abandonment issues. Shelby has a tendency to be depressed,but tries to be as positive as she can. Both girls do average in school.
Kristina and Shelby are bonded to each other and need a home that is willing to adopt both of them. There are in need of a family that will be committed to working with them,as they have already experienced a great deal of loss in their lives. An ideal home would be a two parent home with any number of children. The ideal family would provide an emotionally supportive settings and give praise for positive behaviors, as well as firm and consistent rules and boundaries.
Kristina is a active girl,is very friendly and active in athletic activities. She enjoys baseball,basketball and swimming Kristina gets along well with everyone and has a loveable personality.
