Caleb is a 3-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Caleb is bubbly little boy who socializes well with others. Caleb was diagnosed with Spina Bifida. He has begun clapping and grasping for objects such as keys and pens and is speaking several words. He also uses his grunting skills to communicate when he is asked a question or when he wants something. Caleb practices walking and can crawl and stand on his knees. Caleb makes use of knee pads, braces and a walker to strengthen his legs. He also enjoys interacting with educational toys and other tools to assist him in learning numbers, letters, shapes and colors. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Caleb will do well in a stable and loving family able to meet his medical and physical needs. Training or experience with Spina Bifida is helpful. The family will also meet his emotional needs and promote Caleb's physical activities to increase his strength. They will need to be his advocates and follow up with doctor's recommendation. Caleb will thrive in his forever home. Caleb has older siblings who have expressed that they miss him. Caleb's family will need to be receptive to remaining in contact with his siblings and relatives whenever possible. His grandmother looks forward to sending letters and pictures of Caleb's siblings.
