As any typical boy, Carnelius likes playing with his game boy, playing ball, and various other outdoor activities. He enjoys helping with chores and laundry around the house. He really enjoys cooking and wants to be a chef when he grows up. He also likes helping his foster father with the cars. He has two siblings who he visits on a regular basis, but is being placed separately because of his siblings' special needs. He attends church regularly with his foster family and his sisters, and enjoys all the different church activities that are offered by his church. The foster mother says Carnelius has improved tremendously since he has been in her home. She said he is a joyful child who likes to smile and is always happy. She also says he has a bright demeanor. He is able to interact well with adults and children. He is working on his behaviors so he does not require as close supervision at home and at school. Carnelius would like for his family to provide him with a structured environment with supervision so he will continue to succeed in school and other endeavors he chooses to pursue in his life. Carnelius is willing to tackle any journey ahead with a lot of spunk and charisma. The support of his family will be important to him.
