“I need a family that will check my friends out and then let me hang with them.” Catholine is a sociable friendly young lady. She makes friends very easily and is very caring. She is a typical teenager and could talk or text on the phone 24 hours a day. She also likes to swim, play on the computer walk, watch TV, and go places. She enjoys fixing and playing with her hair. She has even dabbled a little bit into coloring it and did a nice job. She wants to be a hair dresser or possibly a computer person when she grows up; she also says though that the opportunities are wide open. Catholine would like a family that has friendly dogs (she especially loves Chihuahuas) and her own bedroom. She wants parents who are younger then 50 and they have to be active. She also wants a family that will allow her to date and be open to her dating boys from different cultures as she “does not discriminate”. Catholine prefers to live in a town or city or at least one big enough to have lots of fun things to do. Catholine says she is open to going to a Christian church, but not every day of the week. She prefers just Sunday morning and youth activities. Catholine needs a family that will provide rules and structure and consistently follow-through with that. However, she needs some flexibility when it comes to socializing and relating to peers, but still monitored. She will need parents who are willing to continue her counseling and medication management. She also needs a family who will help her catch-up in school as she hopes to graduate and then further her education. Catholine will benefit from having her own room and is open to siblings. She could really benefit from an older sister who could be a positive role model. She also will need a family that is open to some birth family contact.
