He enjoys being around animals, likes playing computer games and is an eager participant in many activities. Chris can be charming and mischievous at the same time and will use his charm to try to get his way. He is sometimes guarded when discussing his feelings, but he enjoys talking about age appropriate topics. Losing his family was difficult for Chris, and he has worked hard to learn how to manage his feelings about his losses. He responds well to attention from adults and is able to bond with them, but he is more guarded around peers. Chris has been in several foster home placements and wants very much to become part of a permanent family – a family that enjoys one another and celebrates special occasions together. He has some academic challenges but wants to do well at school and in the home. A structured home environment with a nurturing, patient family to guide him will make a big difference for Chris.
