Photolisting Profile for Christopher

Christopher is a 15-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Chris is a basketball coach's dream. He is tall, lanky, and fast. Chris is a sports fanatic when it comes to basketball, football, and track. To keep up with his active lifestyle, Chris says that he loves to eat. His all time favorite restaurant is CiCi's Pizza, but any buffet will keep him happy! Chris is very particular about his appearance. He takes special care to ensure that he is dressed nicely with his clothes clean and pressed and his hair just right. He is helpful with chores and does a great job of keeping his room clean. Chris is described as fun-loving, but can also be quick tempered. He is shy and quiet most of the time, but easily makes friends through sports activities. He tends to become upset quickly, but responds best when boundaries are clearly stated from the very beginning. Chris doesn't like to be corrected and doesn't always appreciate authority. Chris was born with a cleft pallet, and may require continued corrective surgeries and dental work in the future. As a result, he requires speech therapy through school. Chris is a good student, but will need on-going support from teachers and his parents to ensure that he is staying on track. Chris has a twin sister, but it is not recommended that they be placed together. They continue to work on having a healthy relationship through visits and phone contact. Chris will do best in a home with a small number of children. He enjoys being the older brother. Chris has endless potential and will make any family proud! Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Chris is looking for a family who will give him unconditional love and acceptance. He needs a family who will patiently work with him as he learns to navigate the world of a teenager preparing for independence. Chris' ideal family will be actively involved in sports and church activities. He will benefit from a family who can advocate for him at school to ensure his needs are met. Chris will need follow-up care for his cleft palate. It will be important for Chris to maintain contact with his twin sister.
