Christopher is an 15-year-old boy who is looking for a family. Christopher does not have any siblings. Christopher is currently in a Therapeutic Foster Home. Christopher has been in this placement now for just over five years and has shown great stability. Christopher can be defiant at times, but his foster parents report that he is doing well overall. Christopher takes medication to help him sleep and modify some of his behavior. Chris lives in the TFC home with other children, and the foster parents report that he gets along with them well, as well as other peers his age.Christopher’s interests include sports, especially baseball and basketball. Chris is a very athletic child. Christopher currently attends the 9th grade in regular public school. Chris attends special education classes and makes average grades. Christopher’s last report card had all As, Bs and Cs. Christopher is expected to begin an IEP soon. Christopher is currently in very good health. Christopher has no special medical needs. His sleep and appetite are reported to be within normal limits. Christopher sees a therapist once a week and has reportedly made great progress over the last year in coping with his issues of depression and loss. Chris would like very much to be adopted. Chris would like a two-parent home, and can do well given an opportunity and a consistent schedule to follow.
