Christopher is a 12-year-old boy from Florida who is hoping to be adopted.

Christopher is very energetic, intelligent and intellectually curious. He is a bit guarded when it comes to meeting new adults but warms up once he trusts that they will not harm him. Christopher enjoys attending air shows, reading in areas of his personal interest, playing basketball, fishing and collecting or talking about decorative weapons. He loves dogs and is very attentive to them. He has also recently developed an interest in magic and, like other boys his age, he enjoys playing video games. Christopher is currently in the 4th grade and in a regular education program. During most of his recent grading period, he achieved the A-B honor roll. Christopher likes the typical foods enjoyed by other children of his age, such as pizza and hamburgers. Unlike many children his age, he enjoys fruit a great deal. He doesn't like spinach or French fries. Christopher would do well in most any adoptive parental environment but would probably do best in a home with a strong and patient parent, especially a strong male figure. He would also do best in a home where he is the only child or where there are adult children.
