Photolisting Profile for Codi

Codi is a 17-year-old girl from Kentucky who is hoping to be adopted.

Codi (2/92) is an intelligent and cute, dark eyed, dark haired young lady. She’s got college in her plans (with a score of 23 on her ACT) and would be willing to stay home the first two years and attend a community college in order to spend more time with her adoptive family. Her worker describes her as very polite; if she respects you she shows it with cooperation. She is considerate of other’s feelings, a great writer and has good insight into her issues. She enjoys going to self help support meetings and has led some classes in these areas. She wants to be a special Ed teacher or a social worker. Because she loves to help with younger children; she has volunteered to work with children in special education. Codi takes up for the underdog. She has courage to deal with difficult issues and has shown that she is willing to stand up for herself in the face of daunting situations. In many ways she is more mature than many teens. She is a spiritual seeker and is looking into spirituality from a variety of different perspectives. Unlike many others her age, Codi actually embraces the idea of adoption. She wants a family to belong to. She will need a family with strengths in the area of respect, guidance without coercion, some ‘street smarts’ and the ability to lead and support patiently. She can be a great asset to your family; are you willing to step out with her and expand your family to include a very deserving young woman?
