D'wan is a 12-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

D'Wan is a quiet and reserved youth who enjoys the outdoors and riding his bike. He especially loves football and becomes quite energetic and excited when the topic comes up. He is attending football camp this summer and he hopes to play for his school's team this fall. D'Wan is learning and making progress with controlling his emotions. In class he prevents himself and other children in class from working and manages to grab his teacher's attention. He requires frequent redirection and supervision. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

D'Wan needs a family who is able to provide him with consistent boundaries, expectations, and structure. D'Wan is quite the athlete and will benefit from a family who will expose him to sports, especially football because he wants to play that in school. D'Wan will further benefit from extracurricular activities that will promote his social skills and self-esteem. D'Wan will need to continue with therapy to help him adjust to his new home. He will do well as an only child or one with siblings.
