Dakota is an active 10-year-old. He loves playing football, basketball or anything outdoors. He also enjoys drawing and reading. He is a very loving and energetic child. Dakota would like a family that will go on vacations, watch movies, play games and go to church together. He’d love to have a family to go to sporting events and other activities with. His family will need to be very patient and very committed to helping him continue to learn appropriate behaviors and coping skills. He is still learning how to interact with peers and is getting caught up at school. A family with no younger children who is ready to take on working with schools and therapists would be great. Dakota wants to be a permanent part of a family. He will need to stay in Iowa, so he can stay connected with his sister.
