Damien is an adorable little boy with a great sense of humor. He is affectionate, generous, and talkative. Damien enjoys swimming, playing video games, and watching animation shows. Damien wants to be a policeman or a fireman when he grows up. Damien attends a half-day alternative classroom where the smaller class size, structure, and individual attention allow him to be academically successful. Damien's doctor is working with him on managing his behaviors and learning age-appropriate social skills. Damien will need to continue his counseling. He will benefit from a two-parent home or a strong, yet nurturing, male role model. Damien needs consistency, structure, stability, and clearly set guidelines and consequences. Giving him several appropriate choices to choose from satisfies his need to be in control. Damien should be the only or youngest child in his adoptive family to allow him the attention he needs.
