Davaunte (2/93) is a handsome young man who is very friendly and outgoing. Davaunte is extremely bright and excels in school academically. Davaunte enjoys school and interacts appropriately with his peers and he enjoys acting as a mentor to some of the younger youth. Davaunte is in the ninth grade. Davaunte has many interests and by his own admission, he has a competitive spirit. Therefore, it would benefit Davaunte greatly to participate in a sports activity. He especially enjoys playing basketball and football. Davaunte has good peer interaction with males but with females, he tends to be a bit aggressive, as he fancies himself a “ladies man”. However, overall Davaunte is respectful towards his peers. Davaunte also enjoys shopping for clothes and shoes and he enjoys outings such as the movies, eating out, going to social events, etc. He also enjoys being on the computer and playing video games. Davaunte may need redirection in completing basic house hold chores and in getting motivated to do basic independent living tasks, but once he commits to doing them, he does an excellent job at it and takes pride in his work. Davaunte also enjoys having his own space and enjoys being around pets, mainly dogs. Davaunte looks forward to being a part of a family, especially a family that could help him to become independent and to help him to transition into a responsible young adult.
