David is a 14-year-old boy from Alabama who is hoping to be adopted.

David, born in June 1997, is of average height and weight. David loves animals of every kind. He is a huge fan of nature. David really enjoys reptiles. His dream is to be the "crocodile hunter" as he puts it but he will only have animals on land because he doesn't want to take care of the animals in the water. David dreams of having an occupation that has anything to do with animals. He has hopes of becoming a Veterinarian or a zoo keeper as well. David becomes upset and sadden when an animal as small as a fly is killed in his presence.

David longs for a loving home that will love him for his special interests and habits. He really enjoys when someone takes interests in his conversations regarding animals. David will talk to you for hours about animals and facts he has read and studied.

David's second passion is drawing. He loves to draw pictures of cartoon characters and dragons. David takes his drawing book with him every where he goes and he excitingly shows off his new drawings.

As of January 2012, David is considered an 8th grader at his current placement. He is capable of doing his school work. David will need special attention in the social department with his peers due to his special interests.
