Davida (04/95) is a very cute teen who describes herself as” nice, sweet and very friendly, but sometimes 'I can have an attitude.'” Davida has a beautiful smile (she just got her braces off!) and she likes to dress in nice clothes and look pretty. Davida has a lot of interests including riding her bike, drawing, coloring, and doing things with her hands. She likes to write, particularly poems, and she enjoys reading. She also enjoys playing board games. When not involved in an activity, Davida likes watching TV. She especially enjoys watching shows on the Disney Channel, which are geared toward her age group. Davida enjoys collecting porcelain dolls and has a small collection started that she wants to keep adding to. Davida is a very independent child and is able to be self sufficient within her age limits. She likes things to be neat and is proud of the fact that she is a good housekeeper. Davida likes school and her favorite subjects are Spelling, Math, and Writing. She particularly enjoys writing poems. Her least favorite subject is Science. Davida is a very good eater and likes just about everything except zucchini. Her favorite foods are vegetables, especially carrots, macaroni and cheese, and lasagna. She loves pepperoni and cheese pizza. Davida likes doing things with family. She likes playing games, and watching movies, as long as it’s not a scary movie because she frightens easily, and going shopping. She just loves shopping for new clothes. Davida is also athletic and enjoys swimming. Davida enjoys scrap booking and has put together a scrapbook of her life. Davida is very intelligent and it would be best to be very honest with her regarding plans for her future. She has shown a great ability to adapt to new environments and will likely be able to adapt to an adoptive home as long as she is in favor of the placement. Davida wants to be part of a family and wants to have that unconditional love. She talks about wanting to be with a family that has babies because she loves them.
