Day'mun is a 1-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Day'Mun is a sweet, fun-loving child. He frequently "coos and caas" so that everyone can see his dimples. People are naturally drawn to Day'Mun because of his bubbly personality. Day'Mun loves attention and playing with others. He enjoys musical and crib toys and he likes to play in his walker by scooting back and forth. Day'Mun is completely deaf in his left ear and mostly deaf in the other. He has to wear a hearing aid. He wears glasses because his eyesight is slightly damaged and his eyes will frequently cross. He is unable to hold a bottle. He receives his feedings and medication through a G button. Day'Mun plays with his toys using his right hand. He is extremely weak on the left side. Day'Mun is unable to crawl, rollover, sit-up and he cannot hold his head up unless he is sitting in his walker. Day'Mun is diagnosed with chronic lung disease, seizure disorder, and dysphagia. Despite the attention and complexities of his medical needs; Day'Mun's foster parents state he is a fun loving baby and a joy to be around. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Day'Mun needs a family who understands and can meet all of his medical needs. He is a joy to be around and will thrive with a family who can provide him with ample love and attention. It would be in Day'Mun's best interest to be placed as an only child or with few children as he requires constant attention and has many doctor/therapy appointments.
