She loves to play basketball on the school team, and watch basketball games on TV. She went out for softball during this summer and had fun. Desirae gets her braces this summer and plans to have a beautiful smile when they are taken off. She enjoys the typical teen rites of passage, including wanting to get her drivers license. She has had a job, working briefly in a previous placement. Desirae wants to go to college and become either a nurse or a veterinarian. Family is important to Desirae.
