Along with soccer, hockey, and snowboarding Desiree enjoys singing in her school choir and listening to music. In the kitchen, Desiree isn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty and helping with the cooking. She readily admits that she is a sucker for Chinese food! One of Desiree’s greatest loves is animals. She even has her own fish named Tofu. In her free time, Desiree likes to experiment with her makeup collection while lounging around in her favorite hoodie! Desiree is in the 9th grade. She likes school and is motivated to do well in her studies. This energetic teen is contemplating several choices for her future. She has aspirations of becoming a singer, veterinarian, Olympic volleyball player, or an astronomer. Whichever path she decides to take, Desiree is certain she will try her hardest to succeed! She is currently in counseling which will need to continue after placement. Desiree is a caring teen who gets along well with others. When it comes to family, Desiree would prefer siblings and animals in the home. She would also enjoy a family who likes to travel. Her caseworker prefers a two parent family or single female family for Desiree. However all families will be considered. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related expenses.
