Devante is a 11-year-old boy from Pennsylvania who is hoping to be adopted.

Devante is an active boy with big brown eyes. He has a tremendous interest in sports and would like to join a football, basketball or baseball team. Devante is an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and he would like a family that enjoys watching and participating in sports, likes going to the park and the movies, and enjoys traveling to new and exciting places. He currently is learning chess at the local library and tennis at the local high school. Devante says that his favorite memory is watching a Maryland football team play a scrimmage several years ago. Devante works hard to improve his math and reading skills in school. He does well in science class and says it is his favorite subject. Devante's favorite colors are red, white and blue and he likes watching television, being outside, playing Monopoly and playing video games such as "Need for Speed." Devante would do well in a patient two-parent home in which he is the youngest or only child. His ideal forever family would allow him to remain in contact with his siblings and respect the connection he feels to his biological family. All families will be considered for Devante. He is legally free for adoption.
