Devhon is an 18-year-old boy from Tennessee who is hoping to be adopted.

Devhon says, “I want a mom and dad. I’d like my dad to play basketball and like football. I want a mom and dad who can spend ‘lot of time with me.” Devhon likes to play basketball and watch sports such as football and wrestling. Devhon is a very social young man and likes to attend school dances. Devhon also likes to go shopping, especially for clothes. Devhon is currently at a school which specializes in working with children and young adults who are mentally retarded and have behavioral issues. Devhon does well in school but needs redirection at times. Devhon likes school and likes being with friends. “Devhon is a very inquisitive young man who enjoys sports and various activities. He enjoys school and spending time with friends.” Devhon longs for a family who has a father and mother. Devhon needs a home that is well structured and able to provide the needed guidance for a young man who wants to know more about his world. Devhon’s family needs to be committed to providing the type of structure that states directly what needs to be accomplished to help Devhon meet his individual goals. Devhon would also need a family who is willing to keep contact with his sibling(s).
