Description
Devin's foster mom says he is a very loving boy and almost always smiling. He is also affectionate and not afraid to let those he cares about know how he feels. Devin enjoys many sports, including basketball, football, soccer, fishing, golf, and tennis. Skateboarding, playing X-Box games, and drawing are other of Devin's favorite activities. He is a big help with the horses at his foster home and loves to be outdoors with them. Devin enjoys being somewhat of a risk-taker and wants to be a stunt man when he grows up.
Devin attends a regular class at school where, with the assistance of a personal education plan and additional support services, he has done extremely well. According to his teachers, Devin worked harder than any other student on his testing and achieved the highest writing grade in the class. He also improved his overall scores by eight points, which was a phenomenal achievement. Counseling is helping Devin understand how his behavior affects all aspects of his life.
Devin wants to be adopted by a good family that is active and enjoys all kinds of sports. He has made significant progress at home because of the very structured, yet nurturing environment. This suits Devin to a tee because he is very affectionate, but flourishes in a structured and consistent atmosphere with positive reinforcement.
