Description
Dillon is a handsome and slender young teenager with large, sparkling eyes and light brown hair. On the rare occasions that he opts to share it, Dillon has a big, bright smile. He is an intense boy who is extremely shy and reserved. Dillon can have a quirky sense of humor when he wants to show it. His favorite activity is playing with his Gameboy.
Dillon attends classes at the campus where he lives. He is a very intelligent boy capable of doing excellent schoolwork. Dillon has the ability to communicate and express himself well, but is reticent to do so. He continues to work on compliant behaviors and management of them, as well as social skills and special emotional needs. Dillon is superficially engaged in his therapy at this time.
Dillon will not likely be ready for a family setting for some time, but a dedicated, nurturing, and supportive family could begin by being a visiting resource for him. Dillon will need extensive therapy throughout his life and an adoptive family must be prepared for a very long transition.
