At just ten years of age, Drisha is an incredible young lady. She possess a spirit of tenacity and perseverance in all things she wants to accomplish in life. Her maturity and willingness to look at things differently has helped Drisha come into life her own as a "pre-tween." As her ssiblingshave already obtained permanency, this young lady believes it is now "her turn & time." Drisha is lovable and is reayd to be loved, and looks forward to meeting her new family in the near future. Currently in the fifth grade she enjoys most school subjects, but, particulary loves the arts (i.e. music, crafts, and poetry0> As she is still growing and learning new things every day, she is not quite sure what she wants to be. As she reflects promise and potential, great things are expected from her as he continues to mature. She is on target developmentally, but, academically still faces some challenges with certain subjects. However, this is being addressed in her after-school program, and with her consistently attending school she should be on task in no time.
