Edi is a 10-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Edi is the eldest his brothers and many times will act as the peacemaker between his younger brothers. Larry often participates in activities with his brothers but sometimes he will leave most of the playing to them. Edi can be rough with his brothers at times, but his behavior can be redirected with specific consequences and rewards he can relate to. At times Edi needs reminders because he can be forgetful. Larry does well in school. Edi is a caring child who tends to not want to show his emotions. Edi is shy and it may take him awhile, but he can become comfortable with new people he meets. Edi can be forward sometimes by asking questions when he does not understand. But he makes sure he gets an understanding of information he is given. Edi can be active and outgoing and he enjoys playing outside with his brothers and joining them in the games they come up with to play. He likes to play Nintendo DS but would enjoy it more if he had a game system to play video games on. He says when he gets older he would like to be a wrestler.
Edi, William and Larry are close in age and the bond between them is strong as well. The boys enjoy playing together and particularly like outdoor play. At times the brothers can play roughly with each other and their toys, but they are learning how to adjust to play not so rough. Edi is the oldest of the three children and is more of a laid back. It is usually William who acts more like the leader in the group and he is usually the initiator of things to do. Larry is very active and enjoys participating in sports especially running and racing with his brothers. Edi, William and Larry will do well with a family who goes on outings and is active. In addition to this, they need a loving and supporting family who will provide the ongoing family structure that they need. They may do better in a home where they are the only children.
