Elijah is a 12-year-old boy from California who is hoping to be adopted.

Elijah is a happy and easygoing kind of guy! He enjoys the company of those he knows and recognizes. Although he has difficulty communicating, he can demonstrate his content with smiles and laughter and at times, can be quite engaging through body language. The highlight of his daily activities is to stroll along outdoor in his wheelchair. Elijah also enjoys playing with balls, lounging in a beanbag and he really likes musical toys. He can drink from a cup with some assistance. Elijah attends school daily and is making some progress. Elijah is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Patellar Dislocation, Cortical Blindness, and Severe Mental Retardation. Although Elijah will require 24-hour care and supervision, he has a lot to give in return. His adoptive family will be rewarded with a great deal of love, laughter and joy.
