Elijah is a 6-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Elijah is at first shy and then shows his crowd winning personality. He has a smile that can melt a glacier! Elijah loves to be around other children. He is definitely one of the coolest kids in day camp. Elijah is not one for team sports. But he will cheer for the team. Elijah craves affection, hugs and kisses. He is the child who keeps Mom and Dad company, amazing them with his questions and concern. Elijah likes to keep very busy. He will continue therapy to help him deal with anxiety. Elijah loves to show off his room to house guest and he will share his toys with them. He likes for his guest to be comfortable when they come to visit. Elijah is not always comfortable in new situations and needs extra support when situations seem overwhelming.
Howard and Elijah are two brothers who have shown to be sociable and lovable children. Both need a loving and protective home that will provide social and learning activities such as day camp and sports. Howard is a very courageous and active boy which explains his love for sports despite amputation of his toes due to past trauma. Howard's favorite sports are baseball and football. When he is not playing sports Howard enjoys playing video games. Howard is in Kindergarten and requires extra help with his learning needs. Elijah is at first shy and then shows that he has lots of personality as he gets to know the people around him. Then Elijah shows his big and beautiful smile. He enjoys being around kids his age and does well in day camp. Elijah likes to proudly show anyone his room and toys. Howard and Elijah are very bonded and play together. Both are receiving adoption preparation information in order to help them with the process. They are not in any other extra-curricular activities at this time. Howard and Elijah's adoptive family will need to be able to provide one on one attention to each. Both enjoy being around other children and they thrive with routines and structure. Elijah and Howard love each other very much and enjoy playing together. They enjoy other children and can have siblings, yet they need a lot of one on one attention. The boys thrive on routines and structure. Their parents will provide a tremendous amount of love, support and encouragement. Their family will be proactive in getting Howard the medical assistance needed to help him fight for his continued freedom of mobility. They will take great joy in helping the boys move forward and find lifelong love and happiness.
