Description
Elisha is a bright, adventurous and friendly little boy who enjoys childhood activities such as playing video games, watching cartoons, movies and having fun alone with his toy cars and trucks. He gets along best with older children such as pre-teens and teens. Elisha is an articulate little boy who states he likes school. He is progressing well with academics, with which he receives extra help. Elisha is eager to learn and can be helpful at home with chores. He has a tendency to be bashful at the first meeting but can be very open and engaging once he warms up. Elisha can be an inquisitive and strong willed young child. At this age, Elisha is very interested in knowing how mechanical objects work. He is sometimes dramatic and focused on obtaining something that he wants. Elisha has a tendency to want to challenge direct requests, but is able to be redirected. At school, Elisha sometimes fidgets, squirms or is easily distracted. Elisha is able to bond with his caregivers and willingly gives and receives affection.    
Elisha needs a forever family who is patient and loving. His family should be able to provide a nurturing environment that provides consistent discipline, structure and supervision. Elisha would do best with parents who can establish clear and consistent rules and expectations. Elisha's family should be willing to connect with community resources that will aid Elisha in his needs. Elisha would do best in a home with no other children or children who are are older, with whom he could interact.
