Photolisting Profile for Elneda

Elneda is a 17-year-old girl from Kentucky who is hoping to be adopted.

Elneda (10/92) AKA Ali, has an ‘all American Girl next door’ face. Her freckles and cute smile plus her petite frame make her look like the cheerleader pick of the year. She would rather play sports. She has played soccer and basketball in the past. Ali says her favorite school subject is Math because she likes puzzles and challenges. Like many other teens, her favorite thing about school is socializing. When new people meet her, Ali indicates that they like to sit down beside her and talk to her. Ali is very open in her feelings; she stated that she least likes enemies and bad teachers at school. By bad teachers, she means strict, mean, or gives a lot of homework. Veterinary medicine is Ali’s choice of adult career. She says it’s because she likes animals and they like her. Her favorite animals are cats because “they’re calm and they massage you when they’re happy.” However, Ali loved on and played with the dogs during her photo shoot as much as the cats. She most admired John Junior the 2nd. He was her cat that she taught to ‘high five’ and to clap. Ali’s favorite colors are blue, black and red. She had trouble deciding her clothing choices for her photo shoot. When she’s happy she likes to open up and talk to people. Ali says she loves to talk on the phone, play computer pool, and is a good artist. She’s into scary vampire books, romance novels, and non-fiction such as A Boy Called It. She likes rap music and artists like Boo C, Hurricane Chris and Bow Wow. In terms of food Ali likes anything McDonald’s especially their fries and Ryan’s gummi bears. She doesn’t like ice cream; it hurts her teeth. Ali attends the Baptist church. She doesn’t like highly structured religion. She is sometimes scared of the devil and certain spiders like tarantulas. Ali’s first choice in family composition would be a two parent family, followed by a single mom. She would like younger sisters and much older brothers. She confessed that she was too scared to be adopted right now, but would like to be in a long term visitation before placement and work into adoption after she gets to know the family. She favors families who are kinda young, not too strict, and will help her continue on in dance class. Ali asks of her new adoptive family “don’t abuse me or bring up my past.” Ali needs some help dealing with her issues, but she is also bright, articulate, and cute. She needs a patient, committed family to see her through the rough spots and be there for her to help her launch.
