Eric is a 16-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

"Own a ranch for endangered animals" was one of Eric's responses when asked what he often wishes for. He is described as a sensitive youngster who can be very affectionate and very helpful. Eric receives special assistance at school and has developed good study habits. He is capable of making good grades. Math and Science are two of his favorite subjects at school. Macaroni and Cheese is one of his favorite foods. If he could visit any place on earth, Eric would like to visit any place with snow because he likes to snowboard. Currently Eric participates in band, art and tennis. Eric continues to make improvements in his interacting with other children in his foster home. Although, at times he does not like to assume responsibility for all of his actions, he is learning to do so.

Eric would like his potential adoptive family to know that "Even though I am in foster care, I am not much different from other children my age." Eric has two brothers that may be adopted separately from him. His family will need be open to Eric maintaining contact with his brothers. His adoptive family should be active and participate in various types of indoor and outdoor sports. He would like a family to provide him with security, love and comfort.
