Eric is an 8-year-old boy from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.

Eric is an adorable and loving little boy with lots of energy. He has the cutest freckles and blue/green eyes. Eric tries to remember his manners, but sometimes forgets which ones to use. He always says, “thank you”, “yes m’am”, and “yes sir.” Eric enjoys singing, hiking, and water sports. He also likes to play on the playground and play with sticks and monster trucks. Eric is not a picky eater and likes to eat vegetables, casseroles, pizza, pasta, and cheeseburgers. He attends a specialized classroom at school where a personal aide helps him stay on task and in compliance with his behaviors. Eric also receives speech and occupational therapy at school. Counseling is helping him improve his socialization skills and conduct, and how to positively express his feelings. Eric needs an adoptive family who is very knowledgeable in the area of developmental delays and who is willing to get the services he requires. He will benefit from a seasoned family with lots of patience. He needs a permanent, stable, safe, consistent, and nurturing home environment to facilitate his continued behavioral and emotional development.
