Ethan is a 4-year-old boy from North Carolina who is hoping to be adopted.

These little boys need adoptive parents with big hearts and lots of time to devote to them both. They are extremely close and very supportive of one another. Tikime is described as being energetic, athletic, and fun-loving. He is also a thoughtful and affectionate child who needs to feel needed. It is important to Tikime to be helpful to others and to show that he cares. He is very loyal to his family and friends, and especially to his little brother. Tikime enjoys playing board games and recreational sports such as basketball, football, and baseball. He is very creative and enjoys coloring and painting. Tikime dreams of flying someday and thinks he might like to become a pilot or join the military so he can fly airplanes. He attends regular classes at school where he does well. Staying focused and on task can be challenging, but Tikime is easily redirected. Any behavior issues stem only from this challenge. In counseling, Tikime is learning the significant difference between needing and wanting something and identifying the difference. He is also working on compliance in doing something the first time he is asked and always being respectful to adults. Ethan is a beautiful child with a huge, caring heart. He has a wonderfully grateful spirit and is always looking for ways to show his appreciation. Ethan loves being helpful to others and there is very little he wouldn’t do for someone, if asked. He is also described as passionate, inquisitive, and intelligent. Ethan loves to ride his bike, play in the park, and take trail hikes in the woods. Like his brother, Ethan also has a creative spark and likes to exercise it by painting, coloring, or making chalk art on the front porch. He likes playing all kinds of sports, including basketball, baseball, football, racquetball, table tennis, or just running and running and running. Ethan enjoyed participating in an Easter egg hunt where he found ten eggs and proudly showed them off. He has been attending the same daycare for a year and occasionally needs redirection, but no more than any other three year old child. These boys need and deserve a committed, loving, and patient family who will enjoy spending a great deal of time with them. Tikime and Ethan will feel safe and loved through interaction and will look for evidence of it in their adoptive family. They need structure, stability, support, and plenty of time to play with their parents.
