Evan is a 11-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.
Evan is an active child who enjoys being outdoors. He also loves to play video games and enjoys playing on the computer. Evan is not only into electronics, he also enjoys arts and crafts and playing with play-doh. Evan receives extra assistance at school to help him meet his educational goals. He at times needs redirection when as he can become easily distracted. He also becomes easily frustrated and is working on ways to express that frustration in a positive manner. Evan loves to eat pizza and play with his Nintendo DS. He currently is working on appropriate behaviors as well as boundaries.
Mark, Kaitlin and Evan are a close group of siblings that really want to be adopted. This group enjoys doing activities together and get along well with one another. There is some strong sibling rivalry between Mark and Evan, however, with some time they come to their differences. Mark and Evan love to play video games and be on the computer. They spend a lot of time together and can become very competitive with each other. Kaitlin enjoys to spend her time reading. Her favorite books are Twilight and The Host. She is very bright and her favorite subject in school is English. This group would be best in a home with strong role models. Evan really wants to be adopted! He needs a family with a strong male role model as well as a strong mother figure. His new parents need to have strong parenting skills to address Evan's current behaviors and to be consistent in their discipline techniques. This family needs to be loving and nurturing so Evan can feel safe in his new home.
