Garrett was born in February 1994. His mother's parental rights were terminated and his father is deceased. He is described as a happy boy who is very polite and affectionate. He has a pleasant attitude and is neat and clean. He was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Mental Retardation. He has some difficulty with speech, but uses some Sign Language to communicate. Garrett also wears eye glasses. Garrett enjoys dressing up in costumes, and is especially fond of Spiderman. He eats well, and his favorite foods include spaghetti and pizza. He enjoys watching movies, swimming, and going out to eat. Garrett works best with a routine and consistency, and sleeps well through the night. In school, Garrett is in the appropriate grade level, but works below his level. Garrett relates well with adults and children. He shows affection and does not seem to have attachment issues.
